The design evolved from my previously published 1Morph Shawl with the desire to add a textural element to the border. While maintaining the structural integrity of 1Morph, this shwal includes a large "berry" along two sides of the elongated triangle. The hypotenuse boasts a three-stitch I-cord bind off to become a sturdy third edge. Worked from the bottom up, double yarn-overs quickly increase the shawl size and allow for a decorative edge without picking up stitches. The pattern includes instruction for using DK or worsted weight yarn.
Yarn: 462 yards DK weight OR 420 yards worsted weight
Needle: US 8 for DK weight; US 9 for worsted weight
Dimension: approxomately 57" long and 22" wide at center for both weights
